Common Gundi. I had not even heard of this animal before I stumbled across a family up in the mountains of Tunisia. They appear to be something like a hamster. Rather cute but quite fast and difficult to photograph. Unfortunately, this sighting occurred on a day I was struggling with camera issues. Water had gotten into the lens and fogged it up and it took 2 days to dry out, dammit!
