Asian Palm Civet. There are many species of civet of different sizes and patterns.
During and right after rainy season, thousands of flying fox (huge bats) and other critters decend upon the jungle to feed on blooming fruit trees.
So many animals attack the jungle fruit during these times that civets can't afford to be shy or nocturnal if it wants in on the party.
In Ujong Kulon, on the rare rain-free hours the wildlife gets in January, Civets race out and eat as quick as possible before others show up - even during the day.
