Great Gobi Desert is one of the least friendly places I've ever visited.
While it is beautiful in it's own way, it is truly harsh. Zero clean water, ultra-dry with high winds.
It was freezing cold at night and super hot during the days. No matter how much water I drank, my skin dried and cracked.
But most importantly, no pictures can convey the scale of this desert. It's truly huge. Over a thousand miles across!
