Alligator Snapping Turtle are absolute monsters by any definition. Besides looking like a dinosaur, they have an incredible bite strength. It is hard to convey the scale from a photo but this guy was truly huge. Amazing animal!!! To find a beast this large in the wild is extremely rare but at this one resort in Texas, these are a common site. Below is a pic of an alligator that showed up right next to this monster to see what was going on.
