This California Ground Squirrel is so ridiculously common around California that I hadn't put a shot of one on here for many years. The funny thing is almost every animal, no matter how "exotic" or cool it may seem to be, there are people living on the other end of the world that think of it as a pest and nothing special. Elephants? Hated locally in Africa. Kangaroos? Boring in Australia.
