My brother and I didn't know the Hognosed Snake existed until we nearly stepped on it out in the middle of nowhere! It hissed like a rattlesnake and puffed up like a king cobra. Considering neither of those snakes exist anywhere near this one is amazing. Somehow this guy figured out all kinds of great acting to seem as deadly as it can but it's really not venomous.
