Now THIS is an amazing bird to see. This is a young (immature) Harpy Eagle just outside it's nest. It's a very rare bird and a very very rare sighting. These mostly eat sloth and monkey off the top of the Amazon Rain Forest canopy. There aren't too many birds that I'm crazy about seeing, but to see a wild Harpy Eagle like this was really amazing for me. Alta Floresta, Brasil Oct 2009
