Tikal is such an amazing example of Mayan construction that it's worth leaving these picture here anyway. Also funny is that the below setting is featured in the first Star Wars movie as "Yavin", the rebel base. The Mellenium Falcon lands into a shot taken from this exact same temple of this same view.
