Nutoriously shy and elusive, you could spend years on safari in Africa and never see one. However, on several private reserves these amazing animals have been "chipped" so they can easily be tracked and photographed. They are mostly nocturnal and the trackers use red lights which are less harsh on the pangolin. As such, these pictures were very red so I switched to black and white for a better affect.
